Emery Sidney Giddings 
Emery was born in November 1815 in Ohio, USA.1 Emery's father was Elisha Giddings and his mother was Philothea Fish. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Giddings and Submit Jones. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Anson, Joshua, Horace, William, Josiah, Elijah, Edwin, Seth, Sophia and Philothety. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 35 on October 18th, 1851. He was buried at the Hayes Cemetery, Wayne Township, Ohio.1 1 -
