Maria was born on December 25th, 1666 in Antwerp.1  Maria's father was Egididius BROERS  and her mother was Maria Crauwers .  Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Custers  and Francisca De Wit(te) . She had three brothers and three sisters, named Aegidius , Gerardus, Joannes , Cornelia, Elisabeth and Barbara.  Elisabeth and Maria were twins.
