Aegidius  was born on March 27th, 1660 in O.L.Vr. Zuid.1   His godfather was Balthazar Moretus  and his godmother was Anna broers.  Aegidius 's father was Egididius BROERS  and his mother was Maria Crauwers .  His paternal grandparents were Johannes Custers  and Francisca De Wit(te) . He had two brothers and four sisters, named Gerardus, Joannes , Cornelia, Elisabeth, Maria and Barbara.
