Willemina was born in 1834 in Ambt Doetinchem (Doetinchem).  Willemina's father was Willem Jacobsen Jansen and her mother was Hendrika Saalmink / Zaalmink.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacobus Jansen and Johanna Vinkenborg; her maternal grandparents were Gart Jan Zaalmink and Hendrika Wolssinks. She had four brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Jan, Jan, Kindje and Gerritjen.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 3 on April 27th, 1837.
