Kindje was born on October 26th, 1838.  Kindje's father was Willem Jacobsen Jansen and his mother was Hendrika Saalmink / Zaalmink.  His paternal grandparents were Jacobus Jansen and Johanna Vinkenborg; his maternal grandparents were Gart Jan Zaalmink and Hendrika Wolssinks. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Jan, Jan, Gerritjen and Willemina.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died on October 26th, 1838 in Ambt Doetinchem (Doetinchem).
