Myrtle Victoria was born on July 27th, 1887 in StCleer, Cornwall, England.1 Myrtle Victoria's father was John HENDRA and her mother was Mary Jane ROWE. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas HENDRA and Mary BANDS; her maternal grandfather was William ROWE and her maternal grandmother is Ann BLAMEY. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named John Thomas, John, Nathanial Rowe, Thomas, Frederick, Alfred, Melville, William Benson, Mary, Martha, Emma, Ida, Louisa and Candace. Myrtle Victoria Hendra was born 27 Jul 1887 at St Cleer, Cornwall and was the daughter of John Hendra and Mary Jane (nee Rowe). She was married to Harry Slack but the date and place of the marriage is not known. They had three children, Mary Grace, Edward William, Myrtle Bernice and Ida Louise. She lived to the ripe old age of 102 and died in Canada 1889.
