Alfred HENDRA 
Alfred was born on February 26th, 1881 in StCleer, Cornwall, England.1 Alfred's father was John HENDRA and his mother was Mary Jane ROWE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas HENDRA and Mary BANDS; his maternal grandfather was William ROWE and his maternal grandmother is Ann BLAMEY. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named John Thomas, John, Nathanial Rowe, Thomas, Frederick, Melville, William Benson, Mary, Martha, Emma, Ida, Louisa, Myrtle Victoria and Candace. Alfred Hendra was born 26 Feb 1881 at St Cleer, Cornwall and was the son of John Hendra and Mary Jane (nee Rowe). Little is known of him except that he went to either Canada or the USA when he was quite young and spent the rest of his life there (following in the footsteps of some of his brothers). He married Lula Francis (details of the marriage are not known) but it is known that they had two children, Frederick and Lilian. The date of his death is not known, although it is believed that he lived to a fair old age as most of his siblings did.
