Ethal Florence was born in 1880 in Landsborough.  Ethal Florence's father was Henry James ASTON and her mother was Mary CROWLE. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John, William Henry, Charles, John, Frederick Thomas, Hector Edwin, Elizabeth, Emma, Mary Isabella and Lilly Florence.  She was the second youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 97 in 1977.
