Janet Sligh

Janet was born on July 4th, 1777 in Innerwick, East Lothian, Scotland and her baptism took place there on July 15th, 1777.  Janet's father was David Sligh and her mother was Bettie Broun. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Patrick, David, John, William, Hall, Hall, Mary, Elizabeth  and Elizabeth.  She was the second youngest of the eleven children.
