James Sligh

James was born on October 22nd, 1758 in Oldhamstocks, EastLothian, Scotland and his baptism took place there on November 6th, 1758.  James' father was David Sligh and his mother was Bettie Broun. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Patrick, David, John, William, Hall, Hall, Mary, Elizabeth , Elizabeth and Janet.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 68 in 1826 in Oldhamstocks, EastLothian, Scotland.
