David Sligh

David was born on April 17th, 1767 in Oldhamstocks, EastLothian, Scotland and his baptism took place there on April 19th, 1767.  David's father was David Sligh and his mother was Bettie Broun. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Patrick, John, William, Hall, Hall, Mary, Elizabeth , Elizabeth and Janet.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
