John Singleton

John's father was John Singleton and his mother was Margaret (Peggy) Seed. His paternal grandparents were John Singleton and Elizabeth Ion. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, James, George, Elizabeth, Jane, Ann and Mary. He was the third oldest of the eight children.
