Ann was born on May 6th, 1832 in Stalmine, Lancashire, England.

Birth Notes

Ann's father was John Singleton and her mother was Margaret (Peggy) Seed. Her paternal grandparents were John Singleton and Elizabeth Ion. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, William, James, George, Elizabeth, Jane and Mary. She was the third youngest of the eight children.
