James Singleton

James was born about 1830 in Stalmine, Lancashire, England.

James' father was John Singleton and his mother was Margaret (Peggy) Seed. His paternal grandparents were John Singleton and Elizabeth Ion. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, William, George, Elizabeth, Jane, Ann and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
