Joseph Girdlestone 
Joseph was born in 1712 in Baconsthorpe, Norfolk, England . Joseph's father was John Girdlestone and his mother was Sarah Ford. His paternal grandparents were Richard Girdlestone (The Elder) and Palgrave Frith; his maternal grandparents were Charles Ford and Unknown. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Richard, Thomas, Henry, Zurishaddai, Dorothy and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 50 in 1762.-
