Margaret Cookson

Margaret was born in December 1668 in Christ Church, Wellington, Shropshire and her baptism took place there on December 29th, 1668.  Margaret's father was William Cookson and her mother was Elizabeth Whitfield.  Her paternal grandparents were John Cookson and Jane Pekah; her maternal grandparents were John Whitfield and Margaret Unknown. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, John, John, Henry, William, Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, Sarah and Ann.  She was the oldest of the eleven children.
