Thomas Barrowman 
Thomas was born in 1679 in Newbattle, Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland and his baptism took place there on May 29th, 1679. Thomas' father was John Barrowman and his mother was Janet Gray. His maternal grandparents were Abraham (Abraham Gray The Elder) Gray and Elspet Huntar. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Abraham, James, William, Janet, Isabell, Elizabeth, Margaret and Katherin. He was the second youngest of the ten children.-
