John Barrowman 
John was born in 1662 in Elginhaugh, Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland and his baptism took place there on March 28th, 1662. John's father was John Barrowman and his mother was Janet Gray. His maternal grandparents were Abraham (Abraham Gray The Elder) Gray and Elspet Huntar. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Abraham, James, William, Thomas, Janet, Isabell, Elizabeth, Margaret and Katherin. He was the oldest of the ten children.-
