Hilda Smith

Hilda was born on March 10th, 1906 in Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Hilda's father was Benjamin Smith and her mother was Ada Smith. Her paternal grandparents were James John Smith and Sarah Gale; her maternal grandparents were Charles Smith and Mary Ann Storey. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Herbert, Leonard, Ernest and Doris. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died due to a medical problem, a stroke, at the age of 82 on November 29th, 1988 at St Georges Hospital, Rothwell, Leeds, Yorkshire.²
