Mary was born on May 19th, 1842 in Brick Street (no 12), Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Mary's father was David Storey and her mother was Sarah Robinson. Her paternal grandparents were John Storey and Mary; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Robinson and Hannah. She had a brother named George. She was the older of the two children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, John, David, Sarah, Emmeline and Elizabeth. She died due to a medical problem, myocardial degeneration, at the age of 88 on January 24th, 1931 in Beckett Street (no 123) (St James Hospital), Leeds, Yorkshire.²
