Charles Smith

Charles was born on February 14th, 1844 in Boynton Street (no 40), Leeds, Yorkshire.¹   Charles' father was John Smith and his mother was Elizabeth Booth.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Smith and Mary; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Booth and Elizabeth Hargrave. He had four sisters named Mary, Sarah, Louisa and Betty.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died due to a medical problem, cerebral softening and paralysis, at the age of 66 on November 19th, 1910 in Leeds Union Infirmary, Leeds, Yorkshire.²
