Betty Smith

Betty was born in 1857 in Leeds, Yorkshire.¹   Betty's father was John Smith and her mother was Elizabeth Booth.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Smith and Mary; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Booth and Elizabeth Hargrave. She had a brother and three sisters, named Charles, Mary, Sarah and Louisa.  She was the youngest of the five children.
