Sarah Jane Smith 
Sarah was born in 1850 in Leeds, Yorkshire.1 Sarah's father was John Smith and her mother was Elizabeth Booth. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Smith and Mary; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Booth and Elizabeth Hargrave. She had a brother and three sisters, named Charles, Mary, Louisa and Betty. She was the third oldest of the five children.-
