Thomas Harper

Thomas was born in 1894 in Brandon and Byshottles, Co Durham.¹ Thomas' father was John Harper and his mother was Betsy Annie Emmerson. His paternal grandparents were James Henry Harper and Elizabeth Haywood. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, James, Alice, Mary and Sarah. He was the third youngest of the six children.
