Sarah Harper 
Sarah was born in 1891 in Leamside, Co Durham.1 Sarah's father was John Harper and her mother was Betsy Annie Emmerson. Her paternal grandparents were James Henry Harper and Elizabeth Haywood. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, James, Alice and Mary. She was the second oldest of the six children.-
