Thomas Clift

Thomas was born in 1738 in Cakemore, Worcestershire and his christening took place on October 13th, 1738 at St Johns, Halesowen, Worcestershire.¹   Thomas' father was James Clift and his mother was Dorothy Williams. He had two brothers named James and Samuel.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Joseph, Josiah, Dorothy, Mary and Hannah.
