Dorothy Clift

Dorothy was born in 1751 in Cakemore, Worcestershire and her christening took place on December 25th, 1751 at St Johns, Halesowen, Worcestershire.¹   Dorothy's father was James Clift and her mother was Ann Smith. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Joseph, Josiah, Mary and Hannah.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had three half-brothers named Thomas, James and Samuel.  She died at the age of 1 on March 4th, 1752.
