Louie Butler

Louie was born in 1896 in Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Louie's father was James Butler and her mother was Harriet Brooksbank. Her paternal grandparents were William Butler and Mary Arendall; her maternal grandparents were James Brooksbank and Caroline Roberts. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Mark, James, Mary, Caroline, Rose, Florence, Matilda and Nellie. She was the youngest of the nine children.
