Walter Boynton

Walter was born in 1871 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Walter's father was William Ellis Boynton and his mother was Martha Hargraves. His paternal grandparents were Henry Boynton and Mary Ann Cowgill; his maternal grandparents were William Hargraves and Susannah Coates. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, William, Arthur, William, Jesse, May, Sarah and Ada. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
