Arthur Boynton

Arthur was born in 1873 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.¹ Arthur's father was William Ellis Boynton and his mother was Martha Hargraves. His paternal grandparents were Henry Boynton and Mary Ann Cowgill; his maternal grandparents were William Hargraves and Susannah Coates. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, William, Walter, William, Jesse, May, Sarah and Ada. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
