Eliza Hales

Eliza was born on September 3rd, 1838 in Long Stratton, Norfolk and her baptism took place on November 11th, 1838.  Eliza's father was George Hales and her mother was Frances Gowing.  Her paternal grandparents were George Hales and Lucy Beaumont; her maternal grandparents were Henry Gowing and Judith Bowton. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, William, Ephraim, Sophia, Susan, Elizabeth and Judith.  She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James and Lydia.  She died at the age of 49 in 1887.
