Arthur James Ludkin

Arthur was born in 1861.  Arthur's father was James Ludkin and his mother was Eliza Hales.  His paternal grandparents were James Ludkin and Mary Howlett; his maternal grandparents were George Hales and Frances Gowing. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Albert, John, Georgiana, Susannah, Charlotte, Lilly, Jane and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.
