James Ludkin
James was born in 1825 in Tharston, Norfolk. James' father was James Ludkin and his mother was Mary Howlett. His paternal grandparents were John Ludkin and Mary Livock; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Howlett and Mary Culyer. He had a brother and a sister, named Daniel and Mary. He was the oldest of the three children. He had three half-sisters named Elizabeth, Hannah and Eliza. He died at the age of 62 in 1887.-

James lived in Norfolk Arms Inn, Forncett St. Peter, Norfolk in 1851.He lived in Little Green, Wacton, Norfolk in 1861.He lived in Armesford, Wheetslade, Tynemouth, Northumberland in 1871.He lived in Chapel Row (no. 102) Longbenton, Northumberland in 1881.

James and Eliza were married in 1856. They had three sons and six daughters, named Arthur, Albert, John, Georgiana, Susannah, Charlotte, Lilly, Jane and Mary.
