Archibald Mungo Muir

Archibald was born on February 24th, 1847. Archibald's father was Sir William Muir and his mother was Elizabeth Huntly Wemyss. His paternal grandparents were William Muir and Helen; his maternal grandparents were James Wemyss and Caroline Charlotte Binfield. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named William, James, John, Charles, Thomason Muir, Wemyss, Caroline, Helen, Elizabeth, Katherine, Margaret, Agnes, Jean and Helen. He died at the age of 52 on May 15th, 1899. His burial was in Kathmandu.
