Fanny was born on March 10th, 1877 in New Zealand.¹ Fanny's father was John Edward COOK and her mother was Fanny HALL. Her maternal grandparents were Elijah HALL and Sarah SILVESTER. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Ted, George, Sarah, Louisa, Annie, Lottie, Emily and Daisy. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
