Hannah was born in 1841 in Chacombe, Northants.  Hannah's father was Thomas CHINNER and her mother was Elizabeth WATTS. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Charles, Henry, Clement, James, Frances, Elizabeth and Charlotte.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
