Charlotte was born in 1853 in Chacombe, Northants.  Charlotte's father was Thomas CHINNER and her mother was Elizabeth WATTS. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Charles, Henry, Clement, James, Frances, Elizabeth and Hannah.  She was the youngest of the nine children.
