Frederic was born on May 7th, 1826.  Frederic's father was Ferdinandus Pieters and his mother was Isabelle Duyvejonck.  His paternal grandparents were Joannes Pieters and Livina Therese Mestdagh; his maternal grandparents were Joannes Duyvejonck and Brigitta Blanckaert. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Leo, Carel, Ivo, Eduard, levenloos, Joannes, Amelia and Levenloos.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 60 on August 10th, 1886.
