Beatrice was born on August 27th, 1892 in 54 Elm Street, Lynn, MA.1  Beatrice's father was William Lewis Phinney and her mother was Katherine Hamilton Thompson.  Her paternal grandparents were William  Henry  Phinney and Emma Jane Inglee; her maternal grandparents were Josiah (John) Dearborn Thompson and Sarah Anne Hamilton. She had three brothers and a sister, named William, Josiah, Henry and Irene.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died from a stroke at the age of 89 on August 14th, 1982 in Lyndonville, New York.  She was buried in Lynhaven Cemetary, Lyndonville, New York.2
