Emma was born on March 1st, 1845 in Machias, Washington County, Maine.1  Emma's father was John Inglee and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Brown.  Her paternal grandparents were Capt Ebenezer Inglee and Elizabeth Otis Smith.  She died at the age of 70 on June 6th, 1915 in Machias, Washington County, Maine.  She was buried in Court St. Cemetery, Machias, Maine.2
