Robert Whitling

Robert was born in June 1922 in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.¹ Robert's father was Robert Whitling and his mother was Alice Aitchison. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Whitling and Elizabeth Graham. He had a brother and three sisters, named Andrew, Edna, Vera and Heather. He was the second youngest of the five children.
