Andrew Whitling 
Andrew was born in June 1916 in Chester Lee Street, Durham.1 Andrew's father was Robert Whitling and his mother was Alice Aitchison. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Whitling and Elizabeth Graham. He had a brother and three sisters, named Robert, Edna, Vera and Heather. He was the oldest of the five children.-
