Heather Whitling 
Heather was born in March 1925 in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.1 Heather's father was Robert Whitling and her mother was Alice Aitchison. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Whitling and Elizabeth Graham. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Andrew, Robert, Edna and Vera. She was the youngest of the five children.-
