James Petrie

James was born on August 1st, 1764 in Murroes, Angus, Scotland.  James' father was Henry Petrie and his mother was Margaret Elder. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, Henry, Joseph, Isobel, Elspeth, Mary, Christian, Helen and Agnes.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.
