Christina DAVIDSON, widow, died aged 80 years on 29th March 1856 at 3h 30m p.m. at New Main, The Guynd, Carmyllie. Her father was recorded as Henry PETRIE, Shoemaker (deceased), and her mother as Margaret PETRIE m.s. ELDER (deceased). The cause of death was Natural Decay, there was no medical attendant. Christina was buried at the Parish Church Yard of Murroes as certified by John Grant, Undertaker. The informant at the death was Christina's son, David DAVIDSON, who was present. James Taylor, Registrar,
registered the death at Carmyllie on 1st April 1856.
