Leo Francis Blane 
Leo was born on March 21st, 1924 in Otahuhu, Auckland. Leo's father was James Patrick Blane and his mother was Nora Veronica McSweeney. His paternal grandparents were William Robert Blane and Honorah Foley; his maternal grandparents were John McSweeney and Eileen Ross. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, Kevin, Peter, John, Patricia, Sheila, Nora and Irene. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 34 on July 13th, 1958 in te Puia, East Cape, NZ.-
