Irene Rosemary Blane 
Irene was born on April 26th, 1930 in Te Araroa. Irene's father was James Patrick Blane and her mother was Nora Veronica McSweeney. Her paternal grandparents were William Robert Blane and Honorah Foley; her maternal grandparents were John McSweeney and Eileen Ross. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Leo, Kevin, Peter, John, Patricia, Sheila and Nora. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 79 on October 1st, 2009 in Putaruru, NZ.-
