John Paul Blane 
John was born on July 20th, 1938 in Gisborne, NZ. John's father was James Patrick Blane and his mother was Nora Veronica McSweeney. His paternal grandparents were William Robert Blane and Honorah Foley; his maternal grandparents were John McSweeney and Eileen Ross. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, Leo, Kevin, Peter, Patricia, Sheila, Nora and Irene. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 70 on March 30th, 2009 in Hastings, NZ.-
