James Patrick Blane 
James was born on September 21st, 1922 in Otahuhu, Auckland. James' father was James Patrick Blane and his mother was Nora Veronica McSweeney. His paternal grandparents were William Robert Blane and Honorah Foley; his maternal grandparents were John McSweeney and Eileen Ross. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Leo, Kevin, Peter, John, Patricia, Sheila, Nora and Irene. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 39 on July 29th, 1962 in Gisborne, NZ.-
