Robert L. Roberts 
Robert L. was born in March 1862 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Robert L.'s father was Robert J. Roberts and his mother was Julia A. Webster. His paternal grandparents were Martin Roberts and Elizabeth Gilliland. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Richard Martin, Lawrence E. 'Tosh', Thomas, John W., Elizabeth, Margaret L., Cora A. and Mary E.. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 38 in 1900.1 General Notes
